Heard Baby 2

We had our big scan on Valentine's Day, at 18 weeks. Heard Baby 2 is a BOY!

Our sweet little boy weighed in about 8 oz and looks healthy. He was busy sucking his thumb during the ultrasound and we got some cute pictures. His heart rate was in the 150s.

Kirksey was so still while she stared at her baby brother on the screen. 

Richard worked in Tupelo this weekend so we had some family come meet us for dinner and a gender reveal. 

I wanted Kirksey to be involved so we wrapped up something blue for her to open. The box had the tally of guesses (which was an even tie) and said bow? or bow tie?

Kirksey is excited about her baby brother and would have spilled the beans if anyone had asked her "who is in mama's belly"

And what is a little celebration without cupcakes!

Christmas 2012

I'm finally getting around to posting a bunch of pictures from Christmas! Between first trimester "sickness" and chasing my precious 2 year old around I have gotten a little behind. (oh, if anyone actually reads this blog who doesn't already know...you read that right, I'm almost 17 weeks pregnant!)
