Only 10 More Weeks!

I am 30 weeks today! Which means there are only 10 weeks until my due date! That thought is both so exciting and overwhelming/scary to me. She is constantly moving around, I can only imagine how active she will be when she arrives. Richard and I drove to Mississippi this past weekend (more on that in a minute) and on our way back we decided that if by 5:07pm on Sunday we do not have any objections to our second favorite name for our precious baby girl that we will make a compromise. So be looking for a post on Sunday night for her possible name!

So, back to our drive to Mississippi. We made a very quick trip this past weekend to purchase this:
Don't get me wrong...I have loved the 4Runner. Afterall, I have had it since the end of my senior year in high school (almost 10 1/2 years). But the drive back in it was MISERABLE. The a/c lasted all of 30 minutes which made about 10 hours in a hot car while being pregnant and uncomfortable anyway...so awful! However, the drive back in the truck was AWESOME. The air was so cold the whole way that we actually ended up closing all but one vent.  Of course there are alot more reasons this truck is great, but the a/c was very much appreciated.

We have not taken a 30 week belly picture today yet, but here are some from the last couple weeks.

Catching up

First of all, I have to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my wonderful husband! Richard is the big 29 today!
Get ready, this is going to be one LONG post. We have been to New York, Alabama, and Mississippi over the past week and a half.
New York-
We left a week ago Friday and stayed at the Intercontinental Hotel for 3 nights. It was such a nice room with a great view!

We got Panda for our little girl from F.A.O. Schwarz

We saw these two shows

and they were great! We had purchased the Wicked tickets ahead of time, but went to the ticket office on Sunday morning to get discounted tickets to Memphis. We were waiting in the very long line trying to decide if it was going to be worth waiting at least another hour when we found out that there is a perk to being pregnant in New York!
They moved us to the very front so we could be the first in line when the windows opened.
Our baby girl was so active during the shows...maybe she will be musical?!

We also went to the top of the Empire State Building, Times Square, and on a boat tour to the Statue of Liberty.

We had a great time in New York, our last trip before Baby Heard arrives.
We also went back to see family and friends in Alabama and Mississippi. We went to the first MSU football game of the season...and they won!
Lauren and me before the game
Aaron and Richard
We got to sit in Club Level seats and it was great! I would love to have these seats one day.

We had planned a dove hunt on Sunday, but first we got suprised with a baby shower. I guess I was dressed appropriate for the occasion.
We got such cute baby clothes, blankets, and gear. Thank you to all who were involved!
And then the hunt began. This was also the first time I have shot a shotgun, and let me tell you that it kinda hurts when it kicks back. I was able to get my first dove though!

Just waiting on doves to fly by
I'm glad Neely picked up the doves so I didn't have to touch them!

Dad is so camoflauged you can barely see him sitting in front of the burn pile
Ok, last few pictures...
