We went to the pediatrician this morning for Kirksey's one year check-up. Sadly, she had to get 4 shots, but she only cried for a minute then got distracted with puffs.
Weight - 18.2 lbs (7th percentile)
Height - 27 inches (<5th percentile)
Head Circumference - 47.06 cm
So, she is still a petite little girl!
The pediatrician said she looks wonderful! Her little eardrums look perfect! She is doing great developmentally! He gave us the go ahead to give her anything she wants to eat, but since some shellfish allergies run in the family we decided to wait on that until 15 months. Best of all, we were also given the go ahead to turn her around in the carseat! I know she will be much happier once we do. Now we just need a new carseat....hmmm, maybe we will get one at her birthday party Saturday!!!
