Kirksey, you are 20 months old today! You are a very busy little girl. Life with you is so much fun and filled with laughter.
You make me work hard to get your monthly pictures!
You wear mostlly 18 month clothing.
You are still in size 4 diapers.
You still have only 12 teeth.
You have started wearing size 4 shoes.
You are so good at giving kisses and making the "muuah" sound to go along with them!
Every now and then you and I will give each other lots of kisses over and over again...it makes you laugh so hard, and makes my heart overflow with joy and love!
You go to bed between 7:30 or 8:00 and sleep about 12 hours each night.
You take one nap after lunch that lasts anywhere from 1 1/2 to 3 hours.
You are a good eater and will at least try what we put in front of you (even though you sometimes spit it right out).
You love to read books. There are even a few you know so well that you will get out of our laps to get another book when we are getting close to the end.
You always have so much fun at the park.
This was your first time on a big kid swing. You loved it, but I was a little nervous!
Kenzie was very good at showing you how to swing!
Of course you love water too.
You have gotten to where you can spot a ball anywhere. You are getting really good at kicking it too. You will set it up in front of you and kick it with your right foot. I have never seen you try to kick it with your left foot, it is always the right!
Just look how cute your curls are!
Daddy took you out to pet and sit on a horse for the first time.
You did not last long sitting on the horse. You preferred your daddy holding you with your arm wrapped tightly around his.
We have spent lots of time in baby pools this summer.
You are a girl that loves the phone already! You will find one wherever we are and put it up to your ear.
You always want to be the center of attention. You have even started hollering when you want my attention, we are working on stopping that!
Here are some of your dance moves!
You are such a happy girl!
You even got your first taste of homemade ice cream and loved it!
You have made grocery shopping a little harder to do lately, so when we found this cart I was so very thankful!
Mickey Mouse still has a special place in your heart, but Dora has taken priority. You ask for Dora when handing us the remote control and you love to color in your Dora coloring book.
You have also finally figured out how to use the microphone. You were singing "head and shoulders" to me.
You have started to go and get my heels out of my closet. I think you are going to love to play dress-up one day.
You give me moments every day that I wish I could bottle up and keep forever.
The only time you have picked out a bow to wear and wanted to put it in your hair. It lasted about 1 hour, then you were done with the bow. It made you look like such a little girl.
You are growing up so much and learning new words everyday.
We love you with all our hearts!
